Eating disorders anonymous (EDA)

Eating Disorders Anonymous (EDA) is an anonymous 12 step program for individuals in recovery from an eating disorder. Learn more at the EDA website.

Find an EDA meeting to attend on the EDA website (either locally or over Zoom), ideally more than once. The purpose of attending is for you to get familiar with the various supports individuals can implement while working through eating disorder recovery.

You can look up other online or phone meetings in the country and attend those as well to experience different meetings and deepen your understanding of EDA.

Read through the EDA Readings, the EDA Newcomers Packet, the EDA Suggested Meeting Format, and explore the general EDA website to get an understanding of the fellowship.
Take some time and read through the EDA Big Book and EDA literature.
