Meet Kate, a registered dietitian and licensed therapist who specializes in treating disordered eating and body image concerns. Kate has a wealth of knowledge and experience in this specific area. In addition to her private practice, Kate also offers professional supervision to clinicians who want to expand their skill set and knowledge in treating disordered eating. She believes that providing guidance and support to other dietitians and therapists is a critical aspect of ensuring that individuals who struggle receive the best possible care.
Kate's approach to treating eating disorders is holistic, taking into account not only the physical aspects of nutrition but also the psychological and emotional aspects of food, eating, and body image. She recognizes that disordered eating patterns are often a coping mechanism for underlying psychological issues, and she works with her clients to identify and address those concerns.
As a registered dietitian of over 20 years, Kate is well-versed in the science of nutrition and is able to provide evidence-based guidance on food choices and rounding out meals.
