Natasha Snapper, BA she/her
Masters of Social Work Intern, Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor, and Certified Yoga Teacher
As a clinical social work student, I work from the belief that well-being extends beyond any particular measurement or standard. Instead, it's a dynamic interaction between physical, mental, spiritual/cultural and relational factors. I believe that all of these factors play a role in one’s relationship with food.
Through understanding your context and goals, helping you to intuitively eat, dismantle diet culture, reframe disordered thoughts and weight stigma, my hope is to guide you to a healthy relationship with food & true food freedom.
I aim to provide a non-judgmental, empathic space where my clients feel seen and understood. I am here to remind you that your struggles are valid (no matter your size, shape, or weight) and you deserve recovery and peace. I am here to provide a safe and validating space for us to work through what that can look like.
My Approach
My approach is individualized to you. I see through a biopsychosocial and culturally responsive lens- incorporating aspects of CBT, DBT, Intuitive Eating, Psychodynamic and Family System Therapy.
